The Twitter search option is to say the least very basic. For a more advanced search try using Google. If you are looking  for people that share a common interest, have a specific profession, or are from a specific location, then type the followinig  in the Google search box. site:twitter.com/* location+Londo You can alsouse   TwitterLocal. You can find people to follow one of two ways. You can invite your friends to join twitter, which is a good way to keep in touch with everybody, or you can click the link “public timeline”.
